How to calculate calcium consumption while dosing kalk?

16 gallon nano, set up with ATO with RODI water.
Dosing 168ml of kalk per day, and 8ml per day of Brightwell's Alkalin8.3. Without the Alkalin, I would need to up the dosage of kalk more than the daily evaporation, which as I understand is a nono. Right now, in over 5 days, my ATO has not kicked in, but my water level is holding steady.

So, the question is, if I want to start dosing trace elements, like red seas ABCD, which goes by calcium consumption, how do I go about determining it?

"168ml" of kalk doesn't tell us much because we don't know the actual amount you are using. I can guess based on what most people mix it at, but that is still variable.

Unless you are hypersaturating your kalk mix that's a pretty trivial amount of calcium in any respect. I wouldn't waste time putting it in the equation even if I believed in this trace element dosing which I dont.

I personally think calcium demand based dosing of trace elements is not sensible, but I know it’s what Red Sea uses for their product.
