How to chose the right Anemone ?

So basically I think its a good idea for everyone who owns a reef or even a FOWLR. To know the best Anemone to choose. So hopefully this helps others as much as it helps me. My question is for my reef tank(mixed reef) what would be a good anemone. Are there any ones that aren't as aggressive or don't move around etc. All knowledge is welcome and hopefully this benefits everyone!!!

If you want an easier nem, go with a bubble tip or a rose bubble tip. They are the hardiest and although they will move around to find their "spot", most stay happy after that. A long tentacle would be the next best. I have a RBTA and he doesn't move much at all, and has never attempted suicide by overflow box or powerhead. He pretty much stays to his rock, and never wanders.

Rock Nems are in my opinion the easiest most beautiful nem available. The come in hundreds of colors and patterns. A tank full of them would be amazing. Plus they are not very aggressive. Corals that a touching my nems do react in a negative way but they dont die. I had a rock nem take a walk and park itself ontop of a monti colony for a week and didnt kill it.

First is to decide if you want a sandbed dwelling one, or a rock dwelling one.

IMO/E, none move around more than others, if provided the proper conditions they shouldn't move. ---- NOTE, that the clones from an E. quadricolor have a chance to move at first.

Flow and lights play a big role.
