How to connect octo various 10

Newbie question how do I go from the one and a quarter inch outlet from my various 10 pump outlet to a three-quarter inch hose! Can’t seem to find a Barb fitting that screws on the outlet

Will this adapter work with a small piece of PVC coming out the top and a hose clamp? Will there be a problem reducing it down to 3/4 instead of one and 1/2

I think the best bet is to stick with the original size pipe for as long as you can to preserve maximum flow, then use a splitter with reducing bushings after that. In my case from the pump I used a 1” barb to 1” silicone tubing for the first foot or so to reduce vibration. After that I went from a 1” barb to a 1” wye/tee/splitter, then used 1” to 3/4” reducer bushings after that.
 
It sounds like you got this used. New ones come with the plumbing and a few different adapters that you can then reduce further if you need to. You may have to see if Coralvue has the screw on part

I bought it new. It only came with that one fitting on the second picture.
 
I would run at least 1 inch if not 1.25 as far as possible. Remember this is a pressure pump smaller pipe is going to increase pressure.

Do you think they will be a flow issue with the reducer hooked straight to the pump and a piece of 3/4 PVC sticking out then the hose

OK so 1.25 all the way up to the display tank then a reducer down to 3/4 so that it fits into the return holes drilled into the back of the tank? I get that right?

Thats still going to increase the pressure. You are running this up from your basement to the first floor correct? You will have to dial in the pump once you start it up you will not ever need it at full power. I would start it at about midway and see what it does once its moving water. Make sure you glue everything on the pump side.
 
I would just run it at a lower rate being a DC pump. I was running the Varios 8 into 3/4 but even the 8 I had to turn it down as the flow was too much.
 
Is that a 1-1/4” reducer bushing inserted into the grey collar? If so just replace it with a small section of 1-1/4 “ rigid PVC then a barb.
