I would like to install an external UV sterilizer, and connect it to my return pump in a dual manifold configuration. One line that goes to the return, and another line with a ball valve that flows into the UV sterilizer. I don't have a lot of plumbing knowledge. Does anyone know of any guides or tutorials on how to do this? Thanks

Sounds like what i want to do i have this setup st the moment. Return pump on left and 2 additional for others.

Wow this is exactly what I need. Do you know who the manufacturer is?

@Tbg299, as mentioned above, you can tee it off if you just needed one manifold. I believe you described the need for one manifold but mentioned dual. A single manifold tee would route to the UV and the rest would flow straight to the return. If it's a dual manifold you are looking for then Adaptive Reef makes one but not very difficult to piece on your own. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/dual-1-2-inch-manifold-assembly-adaptive-reef.html

If you can plumb the uv outlet to return to the tank is what a lot of people say to do.

This is how i did it. Basically, just splitting the return plumbing. One way goes straight to the tank. The other to the UV. Both end at the tank. Gate valves adjust the flow going to straight to the tank or the path that goes through the UV. Flow monitor lets u dial in UV. Probably can be improved on, but this worked for me.

+1 on this setup. My UV goes straight to the return into the tank as well. I think because we use bigger UVs that require more flow we have that in our favor. I do run a smaller UV back into the sump off a manifold on a 100g tank.
