What is the best way to create a backup of the Archon's programming files. Do you pull the USB storage device and copy it to a backup USB storage device? I'd like a backup on hand in case something happens to the main storage device. Also, are there any recommendations as to what USB brand device works best with the Archon? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Is the drive hot swappable or do I have to shut down the Archon to remove the USB device?

You can remove it long enough to copy the files from the USB disk to the computer. Just make sure you get back in the Archon. If it reboots it will need the USB drive. Also the graphing is stored om the USB drive.

Can you update the archon by using someone else’s usb files that have a newer version? Mine still has older software that doesn’t have a setup page and I’m having a ton of trouble connecting it to my router. I can see the archon when I look at WiFi and I can use it but I can’t see it on my network map.

It doesn't work that way. There is a installation script that runs during an update. It depends how out of date you are for that to have worked. As far out of date you are it would require help from someone with the knowledge on how to do it.
