How to deal with Red Bugs?

So I am setting up a 29 gallon biocube to house all of my SPS to do the treatment, how should I treat them with interceptor? Also how long until they can go back in the main display? I guess the true question is how long is there life cycle in my display once I take out all the SPS?

Remove carbon, turn off skimmer & throw 1/5 of a interceptor tab. Wait 24 hours and resume skimming and carbon. Water change would be recommended since its a small tank and their will be a large amount of POD dieoff.

You can treat 2 weeks apart 3x to kill off the lifecycle. I just dose interceptor 2x a year as a precaution. meh

dont remove your sps... dose the display now and next week and the following week and youre good..... i wouldnt put any extra stress on the corals by moving them to a new enviroment..... intercepter is harmless in a reef tank besides crabs and pods... last time i nuked my tank i noticed quiet a few pods actually survived.....

Yup, no need to remove the SPS from the display tank...just make sure you remove all crabs and shrimp that you want to keep and make sure you dose 3x to completely kill them off and break their lifecycle. I agree with turning off the skimmer and removing any carbon before dosing and doing a water change after 24 hours (10% is fine). Interceptor really works well but don't do more than 1/5 of a tablet at a time.

ya turn the skimmer off and be carefull when you turn it back on sometimes it will go haywire and overflow....

I already set it up and I really have only frags of sps so it will not be hard to transfer them over! I know it is extra work but I cant risk that much death in my display tank w/ pods and such! If it is in a quarantine tank still do the three treatments and wait 4 weeks?
