How to determine you have beaten AEFW 100%

So i have battling AEFW for some time. Lost 2 of my acros but 3 survived. Haven't seen any bite marks eggs or anything in over 2 month. 2 weeks ago placed a deep water acro i think is a yellow Caroliniana its doing perfect. But how you know they are gone? don't want to buy some acros and suddenly they explode to wipe them out.

I would still tread carefully. Eggs typically take 21 days to hatch, but if you haven't seen any signs of them in 2 months I would say you are def heading in the right direction. I would wait at least a few more weeks with no signs before I start to load up. Even then I would still qt and dip everything before entering my system.

I'd say your chances directly correlate with how long/what intervals/ and what you treated the AEFW with... They can be very difficult to assess for unless you intermittently dip some of your colonies moving forward..

If you can dip the three that made it one last time and look for any signs of live ones. If you can't I would wait two more weeks and load up slowly

I think i found them close to a year ago. I dipped for 1 month every week. But like i said only had 5 acros so i decide to let it be after the month and let them eat the acros and starve to death. But to my surprise they started to fade away until they were no marks then corals started to grow and develop better color. I can dip two of them the other one cant be diped its a encrusted in a rock and has never been diped or anything but never showed any signs of infected. I was dipping on Bayer and iodine. Also i have a mandarine goby don't know if he might has something to do.
