How to do quarantining... What ways work and what don't?

I am new to saltwater and I am hoping on starting up a Red Sea Reefer 250 (54 gals) sometime within the next year. I have most of the problems with costs and equipment solved for myself but I am left with the quarantining problem. I have very little space for an extra quarantine tank. I am thinking of turning the extra space in the storage cabinet that the tank comes with into a holding tank for brine shrimp. Does anyone have any ideas for me on how to solve my quarantine problem? I was thinking that I could just have the dealer hold the tank for a few weeks to be sure it isn't carrying any diseases but I don't know how effective that method will be. If it helps this is my stock list...

Sorry but I'm a bit confused on what your actual question is

You mentioned starting up a tank but already having a stock list, and also ask about quarantine but mention having the dealer hold the tank?

Do you already have a current tank and are going to transition those fish on your list into this new tank? And you're asking how to clean the new tank?

Quarantine is typically a word used with housing fish for certain number of days to weeks and possibly treating with medication to prevent diseases.

Cleaning used equipment would require a different word.. possibly disinfecting?
