How to dose kalk using auto top-off?

I just set up my new Tunze Osmolator and RO reservoir for the 55g reef I am starting. Now the question I have is how to dose the kalk in combination with the ATO, as I'm fairly new to understanding this concept. Is it possible to mix the kalk directly into my ATO reservoir, or would that be adding too much to my system at once when the pump kicks in? Is this where a kalk reactor comes into use, and how does one work in combination with the ATO? If anyone could briefly explain it to me or point me to some information to learn about this it would be greatly appreciated

Get ur levels where u want them to b and then add the kalk to your topoff reservoir 2tbs per gallon and then your good just make sure u don't suck the junk left over on the bottom of bucket into tank...

better idea... dont do it. your switch or pump goes bad your tank may survive, with kalk in the ato it wont. straight up nuked everything dead.
