How to dose with vodka

I've recently been dosing with no pox red sea max and although it seems to be doing the trick I was reading about dosing with vodka, I just wondered if anyone had any experience with this and how they do it?

I use a homemade version of NoPox. Vodka, vinegar, and RODI. Dose the same amount as nopox at 1/5 the price.
