How to drop ALK.

If your alk. is high. how do you go about dropping it.

I "think" they will tell You to let it come down naturally. I'm in the same situation. I know what caused the high ALK , but is really taking it's time coming down .

There are several ways, from letting it fall on its own to water changes to adding muriatic acid or sodium bisulfate.

How high is the alk and what is living in the tank?

It is 11.1 and I have toadstool and finger leathers and frogspawn. I have 2 sps frags.
