how to edit original post

Sorry for this not being a forsale thread, but since sellers use this forum and know how to edit I figured this would be a great place to ask...
so I have a FS thread and need to update what has sold. in watching other threads I see sellers updating that first posting with "sold" "pending" and so on. I have searched the FAQ and tried clicking around, but for the life of me I cant figure it out. Any help?

You can't. They will post the original thread again, editing in the SOLD comments, and any addtional things they want to say. You only have 5 mins to edit any thread made, after that the mods have to edit for you if you wish to have anything changed.
