So, maybe nothing I can do, but early June I purchased 2 green mithrax. Shipping took too long. The female died in 2 days. The male was missing on his right side 2 legs and his main claw. (No remains in the bag so I can only assume that's how he was shipped.) It's 7 weeks now, he has been getting around ok, and eating with his one left claw. But I'm concerned that if he were injured in any way it would be the last straw. Is there any way to encourage him to molt? Assuming the missing appenditures will be replaced in the molt?

I would let it be, the limbs will grow back with the next molt. If it's been 7 weeks, (s)he's finding whatever food (s)he's in need of. You can target feed and it will grow faster. I did notice some inverts like to molt when you dose iodine. That being said, any addition of chemicals would probably do more harm than good.
