Is it as simple as manage and don't overfeed.

They started in my 20 gal qt and are everywhere. All over the inside of my filters on frag plugs on lps skeletons etc. I started feeding reef rods awhile back but maybe 1x a week or 2x in 10 days kind of thing.

Got into my display now on the shells of some snails. annoying since I'm qt in everything (and thought I was being diligent).

Does crushing them spread them? Can they survive the power of my toothbrush tongue scraper?

Simple just let it go, once the tank becomes more established their numbers decrease. Never even gave a second thought to removing them, seems to me like a harmless filter feeding feather duster is a sign of diversity.

Algae filters water too and we find it unsightly. They can irritate corals scratch glass and shred my hands. Just looking for ways to manage and info on how they multiply etc.
