Question:
I was looking for a way to spot check the copepods in my tank. Any ideas how to do that without buying a microscope?
2nd Question:
Should I add Photoplankton if my Copepods are at high enough quantity to support the tank inhabitants that consume them?

I have a green mandarin & he’s a fatty, never interested in the frozen the others eat, he’s over a year old in my tank.
I have seen critters in the Chaeto in my sump & noticed when checking the Alkalinity with my Hanna Checker, I usually see little green fuzzy critters in the test vial. I don’t see the obvious saturation of Copepods in my system, like I’ve seen posted here & YouTube of other people’s saturation. Just trying to get an idea if I have enough of the right kinds in my system.
Thanks!
