I like to feed some of my corals mysis shrimp, and some chopped up silversides. I am constantly fighting the fish in the tank when I feed the corals, because they see the turkey baster and it's game on. Sometimes I just thaw out an extra cube so I can blast some shrimp on the other side of the tank to draw the fish away, sometimes I end up trying to keep the fish at bay with the tip of the turkey baster. Some corals are pretty slow to take the food in, though, so it is a challenge.

I would be interested in knowing what others are doing to get the food intended for their corals into the corals without fish just stealing it sometimes right out of the coral's "mouth."

Thanks,

Matt

I like to cut a bottle in half and place it over the coral then use the baster and shoot it through where the lid would screw on
+1. Liter bottle from soda or if its a bigger coral, use an old plastic milk jug.

You can also feed them after lights off. The fish are gone nighty-night and won't bother them.
