How to fix hygrometer?

The thin part of my tropic marin hygrometer snapped. If I fix this, will the measurements still be accurate?

Additionally what would be the best way to fix it? I was thinking superglue but am unsure if that is the optimal choice.

these are calibrated instruments relying on density and length, simply gluing it back together will provide erroneous results.
