I have a blue cespitularia that is getting too big? Can I cut it and frag the cut piece? If so, how do I do this....I have never fragged a coral.

Couple of specific questions:
How to cut?
How to attach to a rock or plug?
Ok to keep the frag in the DT or move to QT?
Any other advice?

Thanks!

I would frag it like any other leather coral, cut at the branches, glue or secure the frag to a rock until it attaches, and then remove whatever you used to attach it to the rock.

I have fragged my Green Nephthea a few times and the best thing I've done to attach the pieces to rubble rock was putting a toothpick through the base of the frag and gluing the toothpick itself to the rock in a way that frag is forced to rest against the rock itself, eventually (3-4 weeks) it will attach naturally to the rock and the exposed toothpick will rot away.

Thanks! Did you use super glue or epoxy putty to attach to the rubble rock? Put the frag in QT or keep in DT?
