I have a GSP that about ready to take over the rock it on, Id like to prune some of it off...not sure how to do this in my tank...would be a real pain to pull rock out and frag that way. So any ideas/ advice would be great!

Your best bet would probably be a scalpel or exacto knife. I usually pull mine out and cut around it with a pair of scissors, but that obviously won't work for you. You'll have to slide the knife underneath the mat, then cut off what you don't want on the rock.

I just slide comething between the rock and the GSP
and then glue the piece down to another rock.

If your just trying to control the spread of the GSP then you could place rubble around the rock its currently on and as it encrust use a razor or other sharp instrument to seperate the rubble and have some frags for trade.
