So I watched the sticky video but in that it looks like he has busted up the rock they were on to get them out to cut them. I can take the rock out but dont wanna bust off large chunks of it and im not sure how to go about fragging some of the polyps off the rock, any suggestions?

Bone cutters

Unfortunately you'll have to take some rock with you even if it's just a bit. If you can take the rock out, use a screwdriver or the like and scrape just a little bit of rock (few mm) under the zoas so that you don't destroy the mat but don't destroy the rock. I've done mushrooms this way too

To clarify, I wasn't concerned with giving or selling a frag, I was just throwing the excess away. That might sound offensive to some, but this was a very common polyp that you literally couldn't give away. I don't know if gluing zoas to a rock after pulling them off is ideal.
