How to FW dip zoas, HELP!

How do you freshwater dip your corals (softies, mainly)?

I've read several methods so I'm curious about how each person does this.

1) How long do you dip them for?

2) Did it work for whatever you were aiming to get rid off?

3) I'm planning to freshwater dip my zoas, should I be worried?

I would just use saltwater with some coral rx or ReVive. If you do a freshwater dip you will most likely stress them more

yes they can survive a freshwater dip but like mentioned above coral disinfectant is less harmfull for them

There is no need to dip your zoa at this time as it already stressful. Dip will stress them more and melt faster. Try to find the main root cause of your issue like: salt use, filtration, rodi, feeding, salinity and feeding.

Can vermited snails cause this?

The other dip I use on zoas besides Coral Rx is peroxide. I have the Zoas In a small container of tank water, add peroxide slowly until I see it start to bubble, then let them soak for 20 mintutes. No need to rinse of the peroxide sine it is reef safe.
