How to get a Emerald crab to molt

Hi I have had a Emerald Crab for about 3 months now and she has not molted once I would really like her to molt because there is algae all over her shell.

Feed her more so that she out grows her current self.

Ok what type of food would be best and how to get it to her before my clowns and firefish get to it

Yep, placing food where only the crab can reach would be best.

Adding a touch of iodine to your water will often induce crustaceans to molt. Just be careful not to add too much.

It still confuses me though because my hermit crabs and cleaner shrimp all molt but she does not
