hi guys! This morning I was wondering is there a way to get bubbletip anemones to split without cutting them? And if so how? And do anemones breed? And do they have to be a certain size to split or breed if they do breed? And can a 3-4 inch bubbletip anemone split or breed? Thanks in advance!

Got it. I just got this anemone like almost a month ago. I have been TRYING to feed him mysis shrimp but my clownfish pair always steel it is there anything I can do about them steeling it?

Get yourself some frozen shrimp and/or littleneck clams from a grocery store. Thaw a chunk or two and feed them. I started with 2 RBTAs now have 16+ and I feed them weekly. Been giving away the offspring...

Mine split into 3 different anemones after a problem in my water Change system lowered the salinity from 35.4 to 34. I also have been feeding the rbta but I think the salinity change did it.

^ same as above

heavy feeding. Salinity change or temperature change. Anything that causes stress will make them split.

it’s nice to have more than one. But when you get past 50, they become a nuisance.

Well there is a problem about feeding my nem whenever I TRY to feed the nem the clownfish always steel the mysis shrimp! But the weird thing is the clownfish dont even eat it they just spit it out! Anything I can do?

Your tank is brand new. If they split its because of stress and a bad thing. Have patience.

At this stage in your tank and their size? Yes

Generally it's recommended to have a tank around 9 months to a year old before trying to keep a nem.
