I have a pair of ocellaris clownfish that will not host my anemone. Anyone have any tips?

Patience, natural instincts will take over and they will begin to slowly investigate the anemone. It could take some time for this to happen. There is a possibility the clown just simply doesn't host. I know for me I had one clown that loved my RBTA, and it took the other a few weeks to warm up to it. Now they both love it. Good luck!

They have been together since May. They just don't seem interested at all.

Tank raised or wild caught? My wild clown (bought him wild unknowingly) took to my RBTA first.

I had a couple of clowns that I wanted the nem to host and they were ignoring the nem. So, a few days ago a put the nem and both clowns in a small container inside my tank together and they are currently hosting the nem. I will wait a couple more days and I will put them both in the tank together and see what happens.

Tank raised. We have tried putting them in breeder tank and a colander with the nem. They brushed against them but once we released them back into the tank they have nothing to do with it. We have even showed them videos lol.

The tank raised might take a little longer, maybe try feeding towards the anemone putting the clowns in its area in order to eat. This is one of those topics no one seems to know the answer to.

I had my clowns for 2 years with my rbta and they did not touch it ever. I was fed up so I got a small bowl put the clowns and rbta in there with very little water and scared the clowns into it and about 1 hour later hosted clowns..

How long did you leave them in together with the nem? Mine took a couple days to start, also tank raised.

I actually printed pictures of clowns being hosted and taped them to the glass. Not sure it is the reason they took to the nem or not but in 4 days they were in it.

The first time was about 2 days and the second was like 3 days.

Can you remove the nem? If so, try using a breeder basket and trap the clown and nem together for a week. That's what I do with clueless clowns.
