Everyone spouts out garlic because they think it makes them look like they know something that others don't. Years ago it was "feed garlic to cure ich".

I just know my fish like it. Whether there’s any side benefit is hard to say, but my fish are all fat, healthy and happy. Would they still be without garlic? Maybe. But it’s like an $8 investment over 2 years...
