I am pretty sure I have hair algae growing on my Zoas and they are closed up and not opening. I have lowered my light cycle and doing very minimal feeding right now. First does everyone agree this is hair algea and if so what can I do to remove it from my Zoas. Thanks

That looks like a mixture of hairalgae and ulva sea lettuce. Manual removal if you can pull the rock. Tuxedo urchin if you can not. ~Shaun K.

I am ok with the sea lettuce. I have a 13.5 nano tank that has a clown fish, wheeler goby, pistol shrimp and cleaner shrimp. Do you think the urchin would be ok in a nano tank with these inhabitants.
