I just got those two baby sized lion fish, does anyone have experience with getting them to start eating?

You can click my name and "find all threads" for a ton of information on these guys. In the 2nd paragraph of this thread I cover feeding.

I got the fuzzy lion to eat a feeder minno, it immediately went after it, the zebra didn’t show any interest to it, I think it might be too small to be able to eat it.

Please do not feed minnows, minnows have a chance to bind in the gut and cause bloat and death. Nothing in this hobby tends to be absolute, but I have seen quite a few lions die after eating minnows. I dissected them and found the minnow bound in the gut and hemorrhages in the gut; so it does happen and not worth the risk. Ghost shrimp, guppies, and appropriate sized mollies are the best live foods to offer. Minnows are also a very poor choice in nutrition and high in thiaminese; and as a new addition, the lions will need to be recharged with proper nutrition.

I’ll try to look for small guppy and mollies tomorrow, I picked minnow because it’s the smallest live food I can find at the store
