How to get rid of this stuff

So I’m having issues getting rid of this I’d assume brown diatoms. It seems to be only in areas with limited flow. My snails or blue tuxedo urchin Isn’t even touching it. Tank is over a year old.

I have a variety of snails, my conch snail died awhile back. Also here is a pic of the rock work

Be straight up honest here, I have no idea what they are. I just use the test strips and they all come back normal. Then once a week I take a water sample to the LFS to have her check it.

Like a brown film or mucus over it? Do you maybe have a picture under white lights?

I’m sure I could get one with the lights on white, but yes it’s like a brown mucus on the rocks. It doesn’t blow off with turkey baster
