How to goby proof aio tank (please help asap)

My ywg has been in my tank for a few hours. I have a lid so I am not worried about that. But literally in the first few hours of being here, my goby slipped through the weirs in my aio tank and was chilling on the filter floss in the first chamber… i nearly had a heart attack. He is such a tiny goby and I don’t want to stress about him slipping back there again He is perfectly okay btw but please any ideas to prevent this from happening

Like filter floss directly over the slots so he can’t get through?

Yes, in front or behind, however you can get it to stay in there. It will reduce the flow. Turn the pump up if you need to.
