It’s going to be tough getting it to trust you in a ten gallon tank that doesn’t have hiding spots and room to dart away. Once in an appropriately sized and scaped tank, it will just take time getting used to your feeding schedule and getting comfortable with your presence. I would feed at the same times each day in the same spot, and move slowly at first so as not to spook the fish. Once it’s comfortable and starts to associate you with food (when it comes to the front of the tank where you feed when you approach), start trying to hold food in your hand. It shouldn’t take too long, so long as you reinforce that you’re not a threat and get your fish to associate you approaching a certain part of the tank with getting food (for example my fish know that when I put my hand by the right front corner, it’s food time).
