How to Hang light?

How do I hang my light I can’t hang it from the ceiling like it’s supposed to because there is a heating duct above it so what should I do?

Put a shelf a bit above the tank and hang it from that, plus will add some shelf space.

Im sure most wouldnt assume I was saying to put a shelf anywhere near the ceiling... Im talking 2'-3' feet above the tank.

I meant block what’s coming out of the vent. Sorry didn’t mean to imply you suggested otherwise.

The vent isn’t right above the tank I was just taking a picture of the vent to show that that is what it is

Ahh got it... Guess it wouldnt be a bad idea to shut that vent so it doesnt blast down towards the tank.

I've seen people use tv wall mounts to hang lights above tanks. Gives them mobility as well.
