How to increase Nitrates and Phosphate?

IMHO, this is the wrong line of thought. Magic fixes and super additives are typically only good for reducing your bank account. Feeding more is the best option. Reef Roids is a good choice for that. Follow the instructions, but do a little less than it says to start with to see how much of an impact they make.

lol

I can assure you that dosing food grade sodium nitrate and sodium phosphate is far cheaper than feeding more reef roids. Yes, that's chemistry magic. lol

You might not prefer the method, but let's be honest about the reasons.

One 4 ounce bottle of food grade trisodium phosphate (containing 65,000 mg of phosphate) from amazon for $6.99 can raise a 100 L aquarium to 0.1 ppm phosphate every day for 18 years.

I can't argue chemistry with you RHF. You obviously know more than me. I am just saying that the school of thought that I can add this and that to fix those and these is a slippery slope. Next thing you know you are dumping a bottle of vodka and a jar of olives into your tank...

Olives might actually work though?
