I try to maintain dkh of nine within my reef system. I use a reef Octopus KS-100 Stirrer with my Ato. The problem I have is when my dkh gets to nine it's time to refill my reactor. This causes my dkh to rise over ten dkh. I would like for my dkh to maintain at nine after reloading the reactor but not sure how to achieve this.

A ph controller would be a big help with that. With a spike in dkh you will also have a spike in ph. There are a couple of companies working on Alkalinity controllers at the moment. We should be seeing these in the near future.

I don't explain myself very well, sorry for that. Lets say you have 9 dkh, your kalk in your reactor needs replinished. My dkh has been falling over the course of the week per day. I want to maintain a 9 dkh, when you put new kalk into the reactor your dkh will rise per day up to 10.5 dkh over a few days. How would you control that from rising to those levels if you are trying to maintain nine dkh? I would like to refill the kalk and maintain steady dkh.
