how to keep multiple chromis

I have tried to keep multiple chromis before but I never have success and they always go down to 3. I have a 180 gallon and I would like to keep like 7+ if possible.

I am wondering for people who have had success with this, what is your secret. It seems that most of the time it is people with good SPS colonies as it gives the chromis more places to sleep in. Mine sleep in my one mini colony so I am thinking I should wait till I have more mini colonies to try again or do you guys have other secrets?

I also have to get rid of my green wrasse as I think that is harassing them and also stops me from adding more wrasse too.

High flow in the top 1/3 of the tank, multiple hiding spots, frequent feedings all help in keeping a group of chromis.

Yes, get rid of the green wrasse.

I definitely have a ton of flow in the top third, but not sure I have enough "hiding spots" for the chromis as the tangs take all the lower ones and the new triggers I am getting will get more too. Definitely think I am gonna have to wait till my frags grow to mini colony
