I just recently bought a couple of new corals at my lfs. I bought a very large colony of trumpet corals (about softball sized) and a piece of an acropora frag because i wanted to try an sps for once. I currently have a 56 column tank and have a very high flow in it. Just wanted to know some tips and tricks for caring for them. Also maybe post some pictures of your corals? thanks

What kind of light do you have? The acro wants tons of light.

Also what kind of water parameters do you have. Alk calk mag po4 no3?

In a 56 column the acropora definitely needs to be placed at the top.

I have an LED reef light I have no idea what brand it is but it definitely is sufficient because my lfs had it over their coral tanks, they sold the lights because they wanted to upgrade to a light that they could control with their phones as they are not there every day. I have the acropora placed near the top and all the polyps opened up right away. As for my parameters I have to go buy a new test kit because mine is missing a couple and it got old.
