What is the best way to get this to stay around 8. Redsea max nano. I have good surface agitation and have a skimmer running.

Co2 levels in the room, lights, Kalkwasser, algae scrubber, refugium lights, calcium reactor, all have an affect on ph.
Your statement is factually right, however calcium reactor is generally causing slight drop in pH, other methods are causing increase in pH value.

Open a near by window and you won’t be disappointed
Max nano peninsula typically sits around 8.1-8.3 during daytime hours and today I had my windows open for some fresh air since it’s was finally a nice Ohio day and my oh sat at 8.6.
So needless to say I’ll certainly be opening a window on every nice day we have

Are you trying to stabilize pH (that is, keep it at one value day to night, which is unnecessary, IMO) or to raise it (which is useful in your situation)?

A low steady pH is undesirable, IMO.
