No sand bed is the best way, ime.

With a sand bed, you clean it regularly or you don’t. Or if you absolutely want to do it but only once in a while, do it small sections at a time, Or else you could kill your fish by creating an ammonia spike.

Hey reefer what is the best way to keep a sand bed clean?

I’d like to say the best way to keep a sand bed clean is keeping it in the bag. But I have a sand bed soo..maybe don’t keep it too deep a sand bed it has its pros and cons but to me the cons are more, deeper sand bed=more space for detritus to make home.
