I have tried boiling hot water, calcium and lemmon juice. So far nothing is working. I have heard that Klak powder mixed with RO water will work. If this is true, where can I find small amounts of Kalk powder and how strong do you make the misture?

I use Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime...

1 tsp pickling lime
2 tbsp H2O

Inject into the stem.

I probably have a half a container somewhere around here... but really it's cheap.

Where can I find a hypodermic to inject with? I have the a syringe but not the needle. I have been squirting the solutions next to them (probably why it aint working).

I used the kalk with r/o water, and one of my test kit syringe. I made it into a thick paste, and then turned off all my pumps, and filled the centers of the aptasia. I let my tank sit like this for about a hour. Try not to get this on any of your corals. I had very good results with this.

When I had it, I hit up friends in the medical biz. I don't have any currently though.

Syringes... not friends...

On second thought, those either. :)

Ricky, You can get needles from your local feed store. You can also order on line from Jeffers.com or Valley Vet.com . If you have other animals that you see a local vet..dog and cat, ask for a needle. You pay them enough!!! They can give you a 20g or a 15g needle!!! Debbie

i used pickling lime that you can pick up at walmart and a syringe.. mix it up with a lil water and squirt it right on the suckers and it will literally melt them away... and throw some pepperments in there to get the small ones you cant see...

You can also make a paste and push it in to the crevice they live in and let it sit there. Just don't let the paste settle on your corals.

Hypertek99 What worked for me are peppermint shrimps.

Hypertek
I had 6 in the tank but there is something in the tank that has made a meal of all of them. While they were in the tank, the Aptasia seemed to be under control.

Joey08 These are probly your best bet and when you done you sell them to the next person. If your interrested I might go in with you and get some for me to.

Joey,

The only problem with ordering these is the shipping cost more than the nudi's. I have already pm'ed her and will probably get some if I can't get rid of them some other way.

Kalk paste fed directly into the mouths of them has worked great for us...

+1 on the "don't let it settle on your corals"...

I added a scat fish to my tank and it ate the large ones within 3 days. I added Berghia to get the smaller ones.

BHAMR,

I'll take some of the needles if you got any to spare. As for the KALK, I'll find some sooner or latter. I just hate to uy a big bag when all i'll need is a little bit.

Ricky,

We can bring you some kalk in a baggie to the frag swap. Just hope we don't get stopped and searched. White powder in a baggie is asking for trouble.

You still want two salt buckets? I see you had several offers. Just need to know if we to bring them.

Jack
