I have an island of GSP in my back left corner of my reef. Of course the thing still managed to somehow grow over itself and attach to my main rock work. There is only a small patch but we all know how quickly this stuff can spread.

Does anyone have a proven track record for the best way to KILL the GSP that spread to my main rock work?

Was thinking superglue over the mat? I can’t get the rock out of the tank where it is unfortunately.

I’m not 100% sure but I feel as if F-aiptasia and some tunze or 2-part putty would make quick work of soft coral. It melts aiptasia and then you can suck it up with a baster even. The putty is to cover it so the stuff doesn’t float everywhere.

I also think microwaved kalk paste might work as was mentioned, same reasons and methods as F-aiptasia.

GSP also forms thick mats, maybe try to lift some of it to pull it out in a single piece?
