How to kill overgrown zoas

My gold dust are over growing and I can't frag them. How can I go about killing them? It's only 7 polyps

Unlikely (but I didn't say impossible). Not all zoas have it. Mostly just a few types of palys. But you should still wear glasses etc. whenever fragging zoas. If you get any zoa juice in your eye it will sting like crazy. This is a good article about it:

Gaudy Clown Crab eats them, usually pretty chill and will take frozen food, there’s always a risk of coral attacks though

I agree with the steel straw thing. They are on amazon. These are the ones I have and they are perfect if you have/get the right size hose. Hey, aren't you supposed to be in school right now?

You don't need the base in my experience, just snip the stem as far down as you can on each polyp. Yesterday I accidentally cut just the cap off of one and it was open and happy 5 minutes later.

Naw, they’re pretty easy to cut whole polyps off without mashing them up. You could use gloves too but I’ve never had an issue

Attach the straw to the end of the tube. These fit perfectly into the hose I use for changing water. Start the siphon and scrape them off the rock with the metal straw. There is a video somewhere on youtube of someone doing it.
