[TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #F1F7FE"]I've got a bunch of tanish palys that are trying to take over! The problem is that are within a bunch of encrusted acros and I don't want to kill any of the acros. I'm looking for something that will just get the palys. Any ideas?? thanks in advance.

If you can remove the rock or substrate that they're attached to, from the tank, do so. If not...Have LOTS of carbon available and be prepared to do a very large water change.

About 6 months ago, I set out to remove a bunch of ugly palys that had grown onto the front glass. I figured, since they were on glass, I could quickly remove them, using a razor, which I did. I placed a large net over them, then used a razor to quickly scrape them off the glass, removing them quickly, with the net. They slimed up VERY BAD and I wasn't able to remove all of the slime, though I did catch most of it with the net since it was so thick. Within minutes, every LPS in the tank closed up tightly. The next morning, all of the LPS were open and looked healthy BUT every montipora in the tank was DEAD!
