How to Know if Concrete is Reef Safe

Hey all, how would you tell if something like a concrete garden statue is reef safe or not? Is there a way to know?

If its made with portland cement with no additives (stabilizers, quick set chemicals, or colourant) it would be safe after curing but if your buying it at a store and not from the person who made it, it may be hard to find out if its safe. Another possible issue is what is used for aggregate some crushed stone can leach heavy metals into your system over time.

It most likely will skyrocket ph and alkalinity unless you soak it in water for months and change it ecery couple of days. Some people put in a lake or river.
