how to lessen chaeto growth

My chaeto is growing far too rapidly and stripping one of my tanks to uln levels, is it better to cut down light intensity or better to cut down time lights are on, or doesn't it matter which?

Back off on the photo period on your fuge light. 6 hr is good enough if your growing it too fast.

Put it in my "fuge", that seems to work for me!

Ive not had the Prime fuge lights for long but boy can they grow chaeto, very expensive lights but also very good at doing what they are supposed to do.
