Hello R2R, i build up my reefer 250 and was always leveled but once i filled with water and aquascape the front is lower than back, i know i can use shims to level it up but the issue is now being filled, aquascape done and all inhabitants are set and happy, the other issue is that all the reefers comes with a white tops on the bottom of the stand so when placing the shims to raise the front, its kind of complicated due to in between the white tops on bottom theres nothing, so the question is, where and how to place them? TIA and happy reefing.

Simon,

If I correctly understand your post, before you filled the tank the tank front to back it sat level and now that its full it no longer sits level since filling the tank? I am not talking about the waterline in the tank but the tank itself. If this has happened then you have some type of structural deficiency. Wether it in the tank, stand, or floors something has moved under the added weight. how much and if it will give way over time, or stay in its current position its anybody's guess. If you can not find the issue my opinion although probably not popular would be to seek a qualified structural engineer to see what's going on.

Thanks Mark, apparently its my laminated floors the ones are giving me the unbalanced water line, i think the best possible solution is to move the whole system to a different location in my place to avoid any damages to my reefer. Appreciate it again, happy reefing.
