Good Day:

I recently purchased a Red Sea Max 250 aquarium. I placed it where I plan to setup the tank and the floor slopes 0.7 to 0.8 degrees away from the wall (even without water in the tank). I have also included the photo of the foam mat that was under the stand. The stand contacts the floor around its perimeter and down the centre.

Does anyone have any experience shimming/supporting the stand to have the tank level?

I was also thinking of filling the tank with water and taking another level reading.

Thanks,

Michael

The purpose of the foam is to let the water in the tank to self level. Add water to the tank and redo the readings.

Ps. Awesome Level you got there.
