I would say let’s not panic. Have you been testing weekly or monthly? Most likely this built up slowly so we want to bring them down that way. Let’s make sure something crazy did not happen and caused it to jump overnight. Then let’s look at your set up. Can we run GfO in a reactor? Maybe want to dose, but I am against dosing.

Are you running any phosphate filter media (gfo)?
For us to help you we need some info
Nitrate=0 Are you sure? what kit?
Phosphate=.25
What were your numbers last week?
What were your numbers last month?
How old is the tank?
Tell us a little bit about your set up
Filters? Sump? Reactors? Fuge? Feeding?
Perhaps this is an elementary response, but @Randy Holmes-Farley has some unbelievable analysis on this. When in doubt on something related to water chemistry, I tend to just search that name! I tagged him in this post. He's somewhat of a celebrity, but for all of the right reasons (ie. the anti-Kardashian).

What have you done thats different the past week or 2 between tests? Missed a water change. Not changed the Pinky or did you change the Pinky as you would normally?
