My wife said that she saw some kind of white warm and I haven't seen it yet whatever it is and she saw it by my peppermint shrimp which was dead so I think that it killed it because he was really big and healthy and I want to lure this thing out of the rock somehow so I can see whatever it is and if I have to get it out then I will so how can I lure this thing out because I've gotten up a bunch of different times at night and shined my phone flashlight in the tank and I haven't been able to see it yet so can I put like scallops or a little piece of shrimp in the tank or something to lure it out and not cause my tank to go through a cycle or mess with my water parameters and stuff?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Really depends on what it is. I've lured emerald crabs with raw shrimp in a class on a 45 degree tilt, but you do run the risk of increasing nutrients so it's not something you can wait a long time on. Luckily crabs are quite dumb and I caught them quickly. I would keep inspecting your tank and try to get an ID on it. Look all over, not just that one area, it could have easily moved around.

I do check the whole tank but she said that it was small and white and it was picking at the shrimp so I don't know what to do but I haven't seen it yet and I've been trying to find it that's for sure because if it's bad I want it out that's for sure

I took the dead shrimp out as soon as I was told about it so that wasn't in there long so hopefully I can find this thing soon before it gets big and maybe kills corals and my 2 clownfish that are a pair of designer clownfish

Well, is it possible the shrimp died and the mystery critter was eating it? First thing that comes to mind is a bristle worm, but who knows. Here's a good resource...

Yeah it is possible but it was really healthy and big so who really knows
