How to make my fish happy

I have a yellow clown goby in a 3 gallon pico tope JBJ tank with live rock and live sand. This is my first saltwater experience and I think it's going pretty well. Somedays my yellow clown goby is happy and swims around, but others days he just hides and I don't thinks he's happy, what should I do?

Welcome to R2R!!!

I don't think you have much to worry about with the goby, they naturally just chill on an acro branch....just keep the water quality good and keep it feed well.
