how to make my rpe darker

well once i put my RPE under pcs in my 10 gallon they started to lighten up they are growing but just way lighter when i had them under my halides they grew and were wayyyy darker so im still trying to figure this our all the other zoas kept there color for the most part

When I have my rpe's in higher light they get a pinkish orange. When I had them in a shaded area they were nice and dark. Heres a pic of my rpe's after being under 2-250watt 14k's for a few months.
