How to make sand settle faster?

If your tubs have a heater and a powerhead in them, you really don't need to add the coral and fish to the tank.

You should be prepared to do a large water change in case this does turn into an ammonia spike tomorrow.. Better to be safe than sorry.
Sounds good guys! Thanks for all the input, was very helpful. will be updating soon!

What a mess that was lol… finally done though!

I just transferred water and sand to my new 25. It’s all established and cycled, it came out of a 60g but, the water is extremely cloudy. Will adding a way overpowered gyre help settle it? in a bit of a rush because corals & fish are in big tubs waiting to go into new tank. Both have heaters but still want to get this done
Diatom filter will clear it up in a short time

What’s that?
Diatomaceous earth filters . They are used to clarify tank water down to the size of a micron . Crystal clear water . Vortex is the manufacturer of the one I have . They are great used as a polishing filter

Stir it up as much as possible if no inhabitants in the aquarium, buy a cheap skimmer and just clean sponge/filter every couple of hours, , remove as many fine particles as possible before adding life.
Once you add life, these guys will churn it up in some way or other so best to remove before in my opinion.
